Machining Equipment Technician – Permanent Contract

A leader in its field, GEORGIN designs and manufactures pressure and temperature sensors (pressure switches, thermostats) for demanding environments such as nuclear power plants and ATEX zones.
We are looking for a Machining Equipment Technician.
Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Design and program mechanical parts by removing material until the desired shapes and dimensions are achieved (flat, cylindrical, etc.), either individually or in series, using conventional machines, numerically controlled machines, and/or machining centers.
Main activities
- Produce conventional turned parts according to drawings, prototypes, or series, and check the parts using metrology tools.
- Perform Level 1 maintenance (oil changes, fluid levels, alignment) and machine maintenance.
- Set up the CNC tools to execute a command.
- CNC operator for producing parts according to plans, prototypes, or series, checking parts using metrology tools.
- Manually cut the cutting tools according to the plan request.
Your profile
- Vocational diploma in machining or other relevant training
- Previous experience in machining metal parts
- Knowledge of machine tools and their functionalities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, etc.)
- Ability to work accurately and meticulously
- Good understanding of workshop safety standards
