Hydrogen is gradually establishing itself as a pillar of the energy transition, but it is also one of the most challenging gases to handle.

Extremely diffusive, flammable over a wide range of concentrations in air (≈4 to 75% vol.), capable of weakening certain metal alloys, and used at very high pressures (350 to 700 bar) or in a cryogenic state (−253 °C), it requires an exceptional level of safety.

In this context, sensors play a central role: they must detect even the smallest leaks, monitor gas quality, and secure facilities, whether they are refueling stations, tanks, or fuel cells.
